A wet coffee processing system is a system of machinery used for the wet processing method of transforming raw coffee cherries into the green coffee beans. It removes the outer layers from freshly picked cherries before drying the inner beans.

In wet coffee processing system, the coffee cherries first go through coffee washing machines to remove unwanted materials from the cherries. Then they go through pulping machines to strip away the skin and pulp. The beans then ferment to break down the remaining mucilage.

Beans processed via a wet system often have a brighter, fruitier flavor profile with crisp acidity levels.
